ASVPN ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how ASVPN handles information when you use our iOS application and related services.

Our Core Privacy Principle

ASVPN is a strict no-logs VPN service. We do not monitor, record, log, store, or share any of your online activities. Your privacy is not just a feature - it's our foundation.

1. Information We Do NOT Collect

We want to be crystal clear about what we never collect:

Browsing history - We never see or record the websites you visit
Traffic data - The content of your communications is never monitored
DNS queries - Your DNS requests are not logged
Original IP address - We do not store your real IP address
Connection timestamps - When you connect or disconnect is not recorded
Session duration - How long you use the VPN is not tracked
Bandwidth usage - Your data consumption is not monitored per-user
VPN server IP assignment - Which IP was assigned to you is not logged

2. Information We Collect

To provide the VPN service, we process minimal technical data. Here is a complete list:

The limited information we process is used solely to:

4. Third-Party Services

We do not use any third-party analytics, advertising SDKs, or tracking tools.

ASVPN does not share, sell, rent, or trade your personal information with any third parties for their commercial purposes.

Our app may interact with:

Apple App Store - For app distribution and in-app purchases (governed by Apple's privacy policy)
Apple Push Notifications - Only if you enable notifications (no message content is shared)

5. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including:

WireGuard Protocol - Modern, audited cryptographic VPN protocol
AES-256 encryption - Military-grade encryption for all VPN traffic
Secure key exchange - Using Curve25519 for key agreement
Perfect forward secrecy - Each session uses unique encryption keys
No persistent logs - Minimal data in memory only during active sessions

6. Children's Privacy

ASVPN is not directed to children under 13 (or under 16 in the European Economic Area). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately so we can delete it.

7. International Data Transfers

Our VPN servers are located in multiple countries (Germany, Netherlands, United States). When you connect to a VPN server, your encrypted traffic passes through that server location. Since we do not log your activities, no personal data is stored or transferred internationally.

8. Your Rights (GDPR, CCPA, and Other Privacy Laws)

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights:

For European Users (GDPR)

Right to access - Request a copy of your personal data
Right to rectification - Correct inaccurate personal data
Right to erasure - Request deletion of your personal data

For California Users (CCPA)

Right to know - What personal information we collect and how it's used
Right to delete - Request deletion of your personal information

Note: We do not sell personal information. Because we operate a no-logs service, we have minimal data to provide upon request. We will respond to all valid requests within 30 days.

9. Legal Disclosure

We may disclose information if required by law, subpoena, or government request. However, because we do not log user activities, we have no browsing history, traffic data, or IP addresses to provide.

We will notify users of any legal requests for their data when legally permitted to do so.

10. Data Retention

We retain personal data only as long as necessary to provide our services:

Account information: Until you delete your account
Support correspondence: 2 years after last contact
Crash reports: 90 days
VPN session data: Not retained (no logs)

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date. Continued use of ASVPN after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
